Leslye is a native Texan, born in Arlington to an animal-loving family. There was nothing she wouldn’t want to rescue and raise. Leslye raised everything from chickens, rabbits, turtles, birds and even a hermit crab. Not to mention the many cats and dogs that her family was never without. After studying photography in Chicago, Leslye realized her true desire for animal care and strived to make that happen. She moved to Austin in 2009 and has been a vet tech for the past 10 years. Her passion is surgery and recovery and would love to learn animal physical therapy. Leslye loves to spend time with her young human child and fur children. She shares her home with cats, Theodore and Franklyn as well as dogs, Targaryen and Ruby. Leslye enjoys disc golf, photography, art, and skydiving,
